UAC warrants all products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Products must be installed by a qualified technician and used for their intended purpose. UAC reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility upon inspection of any returned item.

New A/C Compressors: 12 months or 12,000 miles from purchase date, whichever occurs first. New Condensers, Evaporators, and other A/C components: 12 months from purchase date. Remanufactured/Exchange units: 6 months or 6,000 miles. Warranty coverage begins on the invoice date and does not renew or restart upon replacement of any part.

This warranty excludes: damage from improper installation or misuse; contamination from a previously failed compressor; failure to replace required companion parts (receiver drier, expansion valve, orifice tube); accident, fire, flood, or acts of God; normal wear and tear; products with altered serial numbers; labor and towing costs; or damage from using incorrect refrigerant or lubricant type.

New, unused products in original packaging may be returned within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. Items must be in resalable condition with all original documentation. Special-order parts are non-returnable. Electrical components may only be returned if unopened. Installed parts are not eligible unless covered under a warranty claim. A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns.

To initiate a return, contact UAC Customer Service to receive an RMA number. All returned packages must display the RMA number on the outside. Ship returns prepaid and insured — UAC is not responsible for items lost in transit. Once received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a UAC error.
