High-Velocity Fan Assemblies
Precision Airflow. Targeted Cooling. Complete System Protection.
Airflow Doesn't Care About Traffic Jams. Your Engine Does.
When your vehicle is cruising down the highway, ram air keeps your cooling system happy. But the moment you hit bumper-to-bumper traffic, idle under the blazing sun, or turn on the air conditioning, your engine relies entirely on mechanical airflow.
A weak or failing fan assembly does more than hurt your cabin comfort—it can lead to catastrophic engine overheating or high A/C compressor head pressures. Our High-Velocity Fan Assemblies are balanced, calibrated, and shrouded to pull maximum CFM exactly when your vehicle needs it most, keeping both your coolant and your refrigerant at optimal operational temperatures.
Understanding Your Configuration: Dual Units vs. Individual Assemblies
1. Dual Fan Assemblies (Integrated Systems)
- What they are: A single, comprehensive shroud housing two distinct electric fan motors and blade setups.
- Typical Characteristics: These units are highly efficient, using aerodynamic, full-coverage shrouds to manage airflow across the entire surface area of the cooling module. They often feature staged electronics—running both fans at low speed in a series circuit for quiet operation, or shifting to high speed in parallel when maximum cooling is demanded.
- Vehicle Location: Positioned directly behind the radiator (on the engine side), acting as a "puller" system that draws air through the front grille, through the A/C condenser, and through the radiator simultaneously.
2. Individual Fan Assemblies (Dedicated Separation)
- What they are: Standalone, single-fan units dedicated strictly to one heat exchanger. If your vehicle uses this setup, you will typically have a designated Radiator Fan and a separate Condenser Fan.
- Typical Characteristics: • The Radiator Fan features a wider blade diameter and a larger motor designed to cycle on and off based on engine coolant temperature sensors. • The Condenser Fan typically has a smaller footprint but operates at a higher, consistent RPM. It is wired to activate immediately whenever the A/C clutch engages, ensuring the high-pressure refrigerant gas is instantly liquefied.
- Vehicle Location: • The primary Radiator Fan is mounted behind the radiator on the drivers (left) side pulling air inward toward the engine block. • The primary Condenser Fan is mounted behind the radiator on the passenger (right) side pulling air inward toward the engine block. • Secondary Condenser Fans can be mounted in front of the A/C condenser (just behind the vehicle’s front grille) acting as a "pusher" fan to force fresh, ambient air directly into the A/C system before it reaches the engine bay. These are mostly found on older vehicles that have a fan clutch and a single radiator fan behind the radiator.
Engineered for Quiet, Heavy-Duty Performance
We don’t just offer a replacement motor; we build a fully unified module engineered to eliminate vibration and outlast generic alternatives.
- Balanced, True-Running Blades: Every fan blade assembly is dynamically balanced to eliminate high-RPM wobble, preventing harmonic cabin noise and protecting the motor bearings from premature wear.
- Weather-Sealed Electric Motors: Our motors feature dual-ball bearings and advanced internal seals to shut out road salt, mud, moisture, and fine dust.
- OEM-Matched Electrical Connectors: No splicing or pinning required. Our wire harnesses feature factory-style plugs for a seamless, snap-in connection to your vehicle's wiring loom.
- Impact-Resistant Shrouds: Molded from premium materials that resist warp and brittleness under intense engine bay thermal cycles.
